Christmas celebration in USA

Christmas day is here once again. Christmas is celebrated as a religious festival across the globe, but most of the people in America, one of the most advanced countries of the world, celebrate it as a family time. Christmas is a time when the relatives come together to meet each other and meet the loved ones. Since the Europeans came to America, Christmas was brought to the same day so that people from different countries could celebrate the festival together.

On this very day, families gather for the celebrations. Different people in America celebrate different festivals. In western areas people, on this day, get up early and prepare for a big feast. On this day people follow the Christmas tradition of singing carolsongs. In eastern regions people celebrate Dong Ha Tu Day. People celebrate this day in the same way as on the birthday of Jesus Christ. In the middle part of America there is the state of Alaska. In this area there are many Eskimos. There is a tradition in this region that after the Christmas and Thanksgiving festival, on the January 26 the people make an offering to the god that is in their homeland. They pray for good crops for the year. On this day people give foods such as akutaq, Inupiat, smelt, and various other fish to the god. Since people in this part of the world do not make such a large offering, it is known as the lesser offering. It is known as the first feast of the year. Even though the pagan tradition is in the roots of this festival, Christmas has become an event to celebrate with your loved ones, family and friends. As the year progresses, children eagerly wait for the arrival of Santa Claus to bring them presents. Most children don’t know that Santa Claus is not a real person but a fictitious character created by Clement Moore. So how is the magical character of Santa Claus and who is the real Santa Claus? The majority of children only hear and see the classic story of the traditional Santa Claus during the Christmas season. But there is a lesser-known fact about this character. In fact, the real Santa Claus has been keeping people well entertained for the past 6,000 years. We often see Santa as a ‘fat, jolly old man’, but these attributes are not what makes this figure so unique. Although many believe in Santa Claus, what makes this figure so great and important is that he is so generous. Santa Claus was not made for children but for adults who wish to impress their friends and family. The real Santa Claus is the modern-day superhero who has been trying to give children the best Christmas ever.
