What lessons can we learn from Christmas?

It’s so easy to forget that this Christmas we can all focus on what really matters – spending time with those we love. However, Christmas is also a time for reflection and a time to remember and honor those who’ve lost their lives in conflicts past and present. Our own local Christmas plays, re-enactments and services are a great opportunity to pay respect and acknowledge those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country. As a nation we continue to show the world how much we appreciate them and all the sacrifices they have made. This Christmas we will continue to enjoy the festivities with our loved ones, take the time to enjoy some quality time with those that matter most. Enjoy the season, be safe and pay your respect and gratitude to those who have sacrificed for us.

What is the most important message of Christmas?

I’m sure the most important thing about Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus. God sent his son to be born as an innocent human being and give his life so that others would not have to suffer. He was born of a virgin and grew up to be a prophet. He taught and gave his life as a sacrifice for those who accept him. He also died on the cross to pay for the sins of all. He is the perfect example of what it means to be human. You will be happy, you will be sad, you will laugh and cry, but you have to ask God to come into your heart. He will not take your money, but he will give you everything you need. He will be your friend and your god. He loves us so much. He will not take the key to the “cabinet of life”. There is nothing that he will not do for you and all those he wants to love. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you all next year.

Why is Christmas important to Christianity?

Christmas is important to Christians because Jesus Christ was born in a lowly stable. He is the reason for the season and deserves your attention.
